Day 10

"Burma-Shave" style

Breathing deeper
Thinking lesser
Leads to me-er
Then to us-er.

Day 5

One Flower
by Jack Kerouc

One flower
   on the cliffside
Nodding at the canyon

one-
iric flower
patches, no less on-
tic than the
granite cliffside,
funneling swirled breezes toward nodding
blossoms, plump with fragrances at-
hirst for winged rendezvous, the

symbiosis transcends their universe, the canyon

Day 2

Kvasir's Mead. 4th grade escapes.

After recess
Of worn-conjoined-colossal-tires,
buried-chopsticked-telephone-poles and
pounded-rounded-darkened dirt,
We sit,
In class-now-everland.
Lights off.
Desks cleared.
Still.
Quiet.
Minds of kindling, giddy to ignite.
Again.
Daylight slinks,
Eavesdropping through closed, unblinded windows.
The gods are here.
Swarming, ancient wilds.
Monstrous things.
Birthings, warrings.
Asgard.
Earth.
Humans awe, exalt.
Hubris rewards with fresh miseries.
Love, kindness
Exalted.
Still, be wary.
Always.
